Auckland Football - All Whites tickets pre-sale

The All Whites will return home in October to play matches against fellow FIFA World Cup finalists Honduras and Paraguay. This is a rare opportunity for football fans in New Zealand to see two internationals of this magnitude on home soil, and a chance to relive the excitement of an unbeaten FIFA World Cup campaign.

The games are not only a welcome home to the team that represented us so proudly on the world stage but also a thank you from the team to New Zealand for the overwhelming support shown during the World Cup. As such, the football community will be given an early chance to purchase tickets before they go on sale to the general public.

Please note that for those planning to attend the New Zealand v Honduras match in Auckland, the Auckland Regional Transport Authority (MAXX) is offering free train and bus transport to and from the game for those who pre-purchase a ticket.

Premier Women into Knockout Cup final.

On Sunday 8 August our premier women ousted Wellington Marist 4 – 0 to reach the final of the National Women’s Knockout Cup. The game was played on artificial turf in front of a sizeable crowd in Wellington. As expected, the game was played with high intensity and it was within the first minute that Rosie White put TKU on the scoreboard. Wellington Marist battled gamely until Annalie Longo scored just before half-time.;

This managed to settle our girls who then went about scoring a further two goals in the second half both from Anna Green corners, finished off by headers from Captain Kirsty Hill. The team would like to thank all those who supported them financially and with good luck messages. A special thanks to the parents of Sarah Gregorious and Aroon Clancy, who provided transport and Saturday dinner respectively while the girls were in Wellington.

A full report will be available in our newsletter shortly.

A date for the final against Claudelands Rovers has not been confirmed, so watch this space.
